How many leads do I get per credit?
1 credit unlocks up to 50 leads. You choose the size of each search and pay 1 credit per 50 — so a 200-lead search costs 4 credits. You can spend as many credits as you have on a single search: a Starter pack's 3 credits is up to 150 leads in one go. Re-downloading a search you've already unlocked is free for 30 days.
What if there aren't as many businesses as I asked for?
You only pay for what's delivered. If you ask for 500 plumbers in a small region but only 267 exist, you get all 267 and we charge for those (6 credits) — not the 500 you requested. The unused credits go straight back to your balance, and they never expire.
How long does a search take?
Good data takes a moment to gather, so neither step is instant. The free preview usually takes a minute or two. Unlocking the full list scales with the size you pick — roughly 2–3 minutes per 50 leads, and longer for big lists (a few hundred can take 15–20 minutes). You don't have to wait around: for longer unlocks we'll email you the moment it's ready, and once it's done it's saved for 30 days, so re-opening or re-downloading is instant.
How does LeadGrid build a list?
It's a multi-step pipeline, not a single lookup. First we pull live business listings from Google Maps — names, addresses, phones, categories, and ratings. Then we visit each business's own website (contact, about, and impressum pages) to find published emails the map listing didn't include. We also use AI to extract the owner or founder's name from those pages, and pick up Instagram handles for businesses that use social as their main contact channel. Finally we verify email deliverability so you're not sending to dead inboxes. That real work is why an unlock takes a few minutes rather than seconds — and why the result is more complete than a one-shot scrape.

How does the HubSpot integration work?
One click pushes your unlocked list to HubSpot as Company records — one record per business, with name, phone, full address, website, email, Instagram profile, and industry (auto-mapped from the business category). When an owner or contact name is available, LeadGrid also creates an associated Contact record in HubSpot — that's the proper home for outreach, because HubSpot sequences run on Contacts and let you personalise with the owner's first name. To see emails in the HubSpot companies table, add the column manually: gear icon → Edit columns → search for leadgrid_email.
Where does the data come from, and is it legal?
Public business listings — Google Maps and published business websites. We return the contact details a business publishes for itself (name, owner/contact name where shown, phone, address, website, email). We don't scrape LinkedIn or social profiles, and we honor removal requests within 48 hours. You're responsible for a lawful basis for any outreach.
