Where the results come from — and what we never index.

LeadGrid is a search interface on top of Google Maps’ public business listings. When you type a query like “dentists in Texas” or “Klempner München,” we run that query against Google Maps via a third-party scraping service (Apify) and return the contact details the business publishes for itself: name, the owner/contact name when shown, address, phone, website, category, rating, and the contact email the business lists.

What we include

We return the business’s own published contact details — the information a business puts on its public listing precisely so that customers and partners can reach it. That includes the owner/contact name where the listing shows one, and the contact email the business publishes, even if it’s a personal-provider address (e.g. a Gmail) — because publishing it as the business contact is an invitation to use it. We drop only structurally invalid or obfuscated junk emails (data quality, not privacy).

What we never index

• LinkedIn profiles or company pages
• Personal Instagram / TikTok / Facebook profiles
• Reddit threads, news article bodies, or any copyrighted content
• Anything behind a login wall — we only access logged-out public Google Maps listings
• Contact details a business hasn’t published anywhere public

You’re responsible for using the data lawfully — including a valid basis for any outreach under GDPR / UWG and applicable local rules. We honor removal requests within 48 hours (below).

Legal posture

LeadGrid operates as a search interface, not a data broker. Results are fetched on-demand against your query and cached for 30 days (or 7 days if zero results). We honor right-to-erasure requests for any specific business listing within 48 hours — email hello@leadgrid.eu with the listing and we’ll suppress it permanently.

By using LeadGrid you confirm you have a lawful basis for any outreach you do with the contact data — typically GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest for B2B prospecting in the EU. We provide the interface; you remain responsible for the lawfulness of your own outreach.

Freshness + cache

Results are pulled from public sources on demand and cached for a short window so repeat searches stay fast and we don’t re-burn API credit re-fetching the same query. When you unlock a search, you receive the current, complete list.
